The app needs to have a working S Health to be able for the step counter to work.
Download S Health if necessary, then follow the following steps :1.
Upon Opening S Health finish the necessary setups required.2.
After which go to Settings by clicking the Option Button (the three dotted button located on the top right portion of the screen) and choosing Settings on the given options3.
On the settings page swipe down and press About S Health4.
Afterwards tap the version number (ex.
Version 5.3.1.0005) until prompted that Developer Mode is on.This is necessary only since the app hasnt been published publicaly yet (Samsung will need to first have the app published before approving it).
Once the app is published and Samsung has approved the app, this steps will no longer be necessary.
